MICHAEL S. KEARNEY is President and Chief Executive Officer of Crown Automotive Company. Having joined Crown in 1990 as Chief Financial Officer, he assumed the role of President and CEO in September 2000. The North Carolina based company, which merged with Asbury in 1998, has 18 dealerships throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia and 1300 employees.

During his tenure at Crown, the company has grown from less than $200 million in revenue to a projected $900 million for 2007. Born in Richmond, Virginia he received his undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia and his Masters Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Michael is married with one daughter. He is an avid reader and fitness enthusiast who enjoys woodworking, skiing, golf, and most recently culinary arts.
